We left Treasure Cove Casino about 10:00 & stopped to top of the gas/diesel before leaving town. I took this pix as we were able to pull in side by side. The Bubar’s are a gas rig & there gas was 1.33.9a liter were a diesel pusher & ours was 1.26.9 a liter. Our total for the day was 150.4 liters for $190.97
We traveled along a 2 lane hwy with several passing lanes to let faster traffic go by. We kept our speed @ about 55 most of the way & were getting over 8mpg (US mpg). It was surprising & sad to see a lot of standing dead trees along the Hwy. Either they had a bad bug infestation or some may have had too much water as many were standing in a bog full of water.
We arrived @ Whiskers Point Provincial Park before noon.
Below our site & Bubar’s site. Were right on the water. Our sites are next to each other with a nice space of trees between. There are small mosquitoes out when the breeze isn’t blowing. The weather has been beautiful. There was a very quick thunder & then poring rain with wind for about 15 min or so & then gone. They say if you don’t like the weather here just wait 15 min. :-)

About 5 miles up the road is a General store & Post office. It’s by the Fort Mcloud history marker. We took a drive up to ck it out & mail a few post cards.
